Cobalt Ground Solutions is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our team as Ramp & Baggage Agents at London Heathrow Airport. No previous airport experience is required – full training will be provided.

About The Role
As a Ramp & Baggage Agent, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely handling of baggage, cargo, and aircraft turnaround operations. Your contribution will help ensure a smooth and positive experience for passengers while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of baggage from aircraft, ensuring correct placement and security.
- Transport baggage and cargo between terminal buildings and aircraft.
- Load and unload aircraft within specified turnaround times.
- Sort baggage and scan baggage tags for flights.
- Load containers and trailers and deliver/collect mail and freight from various airside locations.
- Coordinate with flight crews and ground staff to facilitate efficient aircraft turnaround.
- Manage baggage documentation and tracking to minimise loss or misplacement.
- Conduct safety inspections of baggage carts, trolleys, and ground support equipment.
- Support aircraft marshalling and guide aircraft on the tarmac when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within baggage handling areas.
- Respond promptly to operational issues or emergencies in accordance with established safety procedures.

All duties involve the use of large goods vehicles and specialist ground handling equipment. A strong awareness of health and safety and safe working practices is essential; however, full training will be provided.

- Fluent spoken and written English.
- The ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and the ability to undertake lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged periods of standing and walking.
This position is critical to maintaining the safe and efficient operation of airport services. We are looking for candidates who are organised, proactive, dependable, and capable of thriving within a dynamic team environment.
Essential Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- A fully checkable 5-year employment and/or education history.
- A full UK manual driving licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience.
- Willingness to undergo a UK DBS (criminal record check) and, where applicable, an overseas criminal record check.
- Ability and willingness to work rotating shift patterns (early and late shifts) across a 7-day operation on a 6 days on, 3 days off rota.
- Ability to commute to Heathrow Airport for early shifts commencing from 4:25am.
- Understanding that the role involves significant manual handling and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Important Information – Documents Required
Due to the nature of this role and airport security requirements, applicants must provide the following documentation to be considered for interview:
- Proof of your right to work in the UK, such as a valid passport (original and copy required if shortlisted) and any relevant Home Office documentation where applicable.
- Your driving licence (original and copy required if shortlisted).
- Your DVLA Check Code, obtainable via the GOV.UK website.
- Proof of your National Insurance number, such as a payslip from the last 3 months or a P60 from the previous tax year.
- Your HMRC 5-Year Employment History Letter, obtainable through the HMRC website, HMRC App, or Self Assessment records if self-employed.
