The Opportunity

We are looking for a RAMS Engineering to provide expert support on safety, reliability, and maintainability to ensure aircraft systems meet airworthiness requirements. Supports both new and in-service programs by guiding design teams and producing required certification analyses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate RAMS activities across assigned programs and projects.
  • Advise engineering teams and customers on safety, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Produce RAMS documentation and deliverables to meet project and certification milestones.
  • Perform RAMS analyses: FMEA, FTA, reliability predictions, common-mode and system safety analysis, maintainability analysis, fault-tolerance analysis, MSG-3.
  • Conduct risk assessments and support airworthiness certification.
  • Engage with customers on safety and reliability topics.
  • Work independently to deliver RAMS and systems work packages.

Required Experience

  • Strong RAMS engineering background in aerospace or similar safety-critical environment.
  • Hands-on experience with core RAMS analyses (FMEA, FTA, reliability, safety).
  • Familiarity with airworthiness regulations and certification processes.
  • Ability to produce high-quality RAMS documentation.
  • Comfortable collaborating across engineering functions.

Desirable Experience

  • Customer-facing safety/reliability discussions.
  • Influencing design decisions through RAMS input.
  • Experience with MSG-3 and maintainability modelling.
  • Supporting bids and proposals.
  • Managing multiple RAMS work packages independently.
