Position
We are looking for a Raw Materials Planner to ensure products are purchased in an accurate and timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Materials Planning
- Managing the purchasing of materials for the New Product Development team, ensuring that the right supplier is found, at the right price, first time
- Reporting on waste and leading waste meetings
- Responsible for supplier scorecards – ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in full whilst monitoring supplier performance
- Purchasing packaging for the site
- Administration and maintenance of supplier contracts
- Cover for the Planning Team as and when required

Requirements
- A minimum of two years experience in materials planning
- Experience of working in the food industry would be beneficial
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience in withing with MRP Systems (M3 would be preferred)
- Confident in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
