Senior Charity Business Development & Marketing Coordinator
Full-time, Permanent (4 days in office) – London, UK
Opportunity Overview
You will join RBC Brewin Dolphin’s National Charity Team, managing £4 billion in assets for charity and not-for-profit clients across the UK. Reporting to the Head of Business Development for Charities & Philanthropy, this role delivers high-impact business growth through prospecting, relationship management, and strategic marketing.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Relationship Management

Prospecting & Client Retention
- Identify new charitable clients and nurture existing relationships to drive revenue growth.
- Support sales-led activities, including drafting investment proposals and presentation packs for prospective clients.
- Monitor and respond to charity inbox enquiries with clarity and promptness.

Lead Data Management
- Oversee GDPR-compliant collection, storage, and handover of new leads from mailing lists and events to local teams.
Marketing & Content Management
- Event Coordination & Branding
- Plan and execute charity team events (industry conferences, seminars, webinars).
- Liaise with internal/external partners (marketing, compliance, partners) to ensure seamless logistics.
- Maintain brand consistency across all college collateral while coordinating regulatory compliance reviews.

Content Creation
- Develop and curate marketing materials:
- Event invitations
- E-associate Brochure
- Independent articles
- Website content
- Annual Charity Perspective Magazine (collaborative with compliance teams).
- Lead RBC Brewin Dolphin Charities LinkedIn page, including post drafting, engagement tracking, and page growth strategies.
- Develop and curate marketing materials:

Industry Engagement
- Represent the charity team at external events.
- Collaborate with speakers and attendees to deliver successful webinars.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills to simplify complex financial/charity topics.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to influence diverse teams and secure alignment on outcomes.
- Operations: Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint proficiency.
- Organisational Excellence: Keen attention to detail, multitasking, and coordinated project delivery.
- Initiative: Proactive, self-driven mindset with creative problem-solving abilities.
Nice-to-Have Qualities:
- Background in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or Brand Management.
- Familiarity with tools like Momentum or Wrike, or charity/volunteering experience.
- Basic understanding of marketing techniques (e.g., campaigns, metrics).
