What is the opportunity?
You will be joining the Wealth Advice and Governance department as a Governance Oversight Analytics Manager, based in our London office on a permanent basis.
You’ll strengthen first-line compliance monitoring across Wealth Management Europe, focusing on:
- Proactive risk analysis
- Desk-based monitoring
- Control assessments of RBC Brewin Dolphin’s Front Office client advice and trading activities
You will:
- Utilise key control metrics and business management information (MI) to identify financial risks
- Recommend proportionate remediation, including:
- Training requirements
- Process and control improvements
This role requires 4 days per week in the office in London.
What will you do?
Support the activities of the Wealth Advice and Governance department and champion the embedding of data-driven culture within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of reporting, contributing to regular operational oversights through:
- Reports and MI on activity trends, findings, and regulatory issues
- Identify improvements and enhancements to:
- Power BI Dashboards
- Team-specific reporting tools (adapting, developing these to meet evolving needs)
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of data in line with relevant policies and procedures
- Complete individual risk reviews, deep-dive monitoring tasks as required, including:
- Identifying and escalating findings, breaches, or issues
- Perform trend analysis using:
- Business dashboards
- Data to uncover themes or emerging risks
- Test and refine:
- Control frameworks
- Policies and procedures
- Collaborate with managers to develop:
- New monitoring reports
- Support monthly-yearly compliance activities

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrable experience supporting Front Office activities within:
- Wealth management
- Banking
- Ability to:
- Interpret regulation effectively
- Recommend suitable, proportionate processes and controls
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Excel
- Management Information (MI) reporting tools
- Experience with:
- Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
- Willingness to:
- Integrate AI strategies to enhance:
- Efficiency
- Productivity in compliance functions
- Integrate AI strategies to enhance:
- Strong:
- Analytical skills
- Problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent:
- Written communication
- Verbal communication
- Attention to detail
Nice-to-have Qualifications:
- Certification in areas such as:
- Risk
- Compliance
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Services (e.g. Investment Advice, Financial Planning)
