Regional Strategic Partnerships Executive (RSPE) – North-East Market
About the Role
The Strategic Partnerships Group (SPG) is a national sales team specialising in working with professional service firms, owners/entrepreneurs, and private clients. Designed to foster deep, relationship-driven connections, the team collaborates across the UK to enhance introductions and engagement with the Wealth Management Europe office network and external partners.
With ambitious targets for the future, RBC Group is seeking a proactive, relationship-focussed sales professional to drive growth in the North-East region as Regional Strategic Partnerships Executive.
- Reporting to the Director, Regional Strategic Partnerships and Regional Strategic Partnerships Managers (RSPMs)
- A 4-day office-based role in Newcastle
- Permanent, full-time position
This pivotal sales role requires hands-on collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including Centres of Influence (CoIs) (e.g., accountants, lawyers, financial planners), to execute SPG initiatives and secure new business opportunities.
Ideal candidates are:
- Professional, self-motivated
- Experienced in sales and business development
- Proven record of relationship-building
Responsibilities
You will play a key role in delivering SPG’s regional strategy:

Strategy and Execution
- Collaborate with offices/teams to develop regional and national SPG initiatives
- Ensure execution aligns with commercially viable outcomes and target goals

Relationship Development
- Build and nurture relationships with Centres of Influence (CoIs) through proactive outreach, networking, and events
- Facilitate connections with Wealth Management teams to drive cross-selling opportunities

Client & Opportunity Management
- Track and manage referrals via designated systems, ensuring timely follow-ups
- Convert opportunities into new business alongside Wealth Managers and RSPM teams

- Monitor progress against SPG new business targets through the pipeline tool
- Provide proactive updates to senior leadership on pipeline health

Requirements
Must-Have
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Strong ** organisational skills** and ability to manage multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail
- Proactive self-motivation, with a business development mindset
- Proficiency in CRM systems and maintaining accurate records
- Proven track record in a similar role within financial services, professional services, or wealth management
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Nice-to-Have
- Relevant Level 4 qualification (CII or CISI) or equivalent
- Hands-on experience in wealth management or advisory roles
