About The Role
As an R&D Formulation Assistant, you will support the development and delivery of innovation projects across the category pipeline. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to formulation development, technical risk assessment and product scale-up activities, helping bring high-quality, compliant products to market.

Your responsibilities
- Support formulation development activities across innovation projects from concept through to factory scale-up.
- Contribute to formulation feasibility assessments and delivery of product development milestones.
- Help define product requirements and development specifications in collaboration with R&D, Marketing and other cross-functional teams.
- Identify technical risks and support the development of mitigation plans.
- Partner with Analytical and Process Sciences teams to support successful product development and launch.
- Support technology transfer and scale-up activities using Quality by Design (QbD) principles.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, health and safety requirements.
- Contribute to technical documentation and relevant regulatory submissions.
- Support technical discussions and communicate key findings to project stakeholders.
The experience we're looking for
- Degree in Science or a related field.
- Understanding of formulation development, ideally within an OTC or regulated environment.
- Knowledge of product development processes and technical risk assessment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply scientific thinking to technical challenges.
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to build effective partnerships within cross-functional teams and matrix organisations.
