R&D Systems & Lab Specialist (Remote)
Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $40–$60/hour
Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a R&D Systems & Lab Operations Specialist to work on a contract basis. This role focuses on managing and optimizing research and development systems and laboratory operations to support innovation and efficiency. Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining lab equipment
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for lab operations and safety compliance
- Coordinate with R&D teams to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks in lab workflows
- Manage inventory of lab supplies and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and availability
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of lab instruments to meet quality standards

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience with laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration
- Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols in lab environments
- Ability to manage lab inventory and procurement processes
- Experience working with cross-functional R&D teams
- Familiarity with data collection and documentation in laboratory operations
