R&D Tax Consultant (Technical Focused) - Up to £40,000

Hybrid - 2 days per week in office (Tuesday mandatory)

A high-growth UK R&D tax specialist is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented R&D Tax Consultant to join their team. This is a technically focused role with a strong emphasis on clear technical report writing to support high-quality R&D tax credit claims.

The Role

You'll play a key part in delivering end-to-end R&D tax claims, ensuring submissions are robust, compliant, and well-supported.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing R&D tax insight to both internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Drafting and reviewing Technical Narratives to support claims
  • Preparing and reviewing full submission packs for accuracy and compliance
  • Conducting comprehensive cost reviews, including financial and eligibility assessments

What We're Looking For

  • R&D tax experience preferred but not essential - fast learners encouraged
  • Strong ability to write clearly and effectively (essential)
  • Proactive mindset with high attention to detail
  • Comfortable handling technical narrative / reporting
  • Applications welcomed regardless of formal qualifications
