Reablement Support Worker

Reablement Workers – Competitive Salary (£13.80–£14.30/hour)

Location: Newton Abbott & surrounding South Devon

As a Reablement Worker, you’ll:

  • Work 1:1 with clients to set and achieve meaningful goals.

  • Collaborate with families, professionals, and colleagues to deliver person-centred care.
  • Maintain accurate records using mobile technology and report progress.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should:

  • Have a caring, proactive attitude with strong enthusiasm for empowering others.
  • Be able to drive flexibly across the community (a full UK driving licence and own vehicle are essential).
  • Come with a genuine passion for supporting independence (experience in care is welcome but not essential—full training provided).

Key Responsibilities

Client Focus

  • Help clients set achievable goals backed by professional guidance.
  • Teach daily living skills (personal care, meal prep, mobility, etc.) while preserving autonomy.
  • Offer emotional and physical support tailored to each individual’s needs.

Process & Compliance

  • Monitor progress and document achievements using mobile care apps.
  • Respond to safeguarding concerns promptly and confidentially.
  • Uphold safe working practices aligned with company values.
