About ERM

ERM is the world’s largest pure-play sustainability consultancy and has been recognised as a leader in the ESG and Sustainability Consultancy industry through independent research. We work with over 50% of the Fortune Global 500 and support organisations in translating sustainability ambitions into practical outcomes.

Our diverse team of world-class experts combines deep technical expertise with strategic insight to help clients address complex environmental, regulatory, and sustainability challenges. We call this our “boots to boardroom” approach — delivering solutions that create value from operational implementation through to executive decision-making.

The Opportunity

ERM is seeking an experienced regulatory professional to join our Chemicals Regulatory (ChemReg) team as a REACH Regulatory Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage and grow a portfolio of large industry clients (individual companies as well as consortia), working at the interface between regulatory compliance, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

You will be responsible for coordinating consortium activities, driving strategic and operational programmes, managing relationships with member companies and industry stakeholders, and ensuring delivery of high-quality regulatory outcomes. You will work closely with ERM's multidisciplinary team of regulatory, toxicology, exposure, risk assessment, and product stewardship specialists across Europe and globally.

This position is ideal for an individual who combines strong regulatory expertise with exceptional communication, facilitation, and programme management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of REACH consortia and industry collaborations.
  • Act as the primary contact for consortium members and governance bodies.
  • Coordinate consortium work programmes, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate steering committees, technical working groups, and member meetings.
  • Coordinate technical experts involved in REACH and CLP activities.
  • Support strategic planning and decision-making related to regulatory compliance programmes.
  • Monitor and communicate regulatory developments affecting consortium activities.
  • Manage external service providers, including technical consultants and contract research organisations (CROs).
  • Ensure effective governance, documentation, communication, and financial management of consortium activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
