About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Developer with active SC Clearance to join our expanding engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on secure, user-centric digital solutions for prominent public sector initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing modern, cloud-based web applications that have a tangible impact on public services. The position is based in Leeds with a hybrid working model, combining onsite collaboration with remote work flexibility, and may involve occasional travel to client sites depending on project requirements.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in front-end development, particularly with React.js and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and best practices
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-level applications
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative development workflows
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and accessibility standards is advantageous
- Active SC Clearance (sponsorship is not available)

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible web applications using React and TypeScript, ensuring high performance and scalability
- Create reusable UI components and establish scalable front-end architecture to support future growth and feature development
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, back-end developers, DevOps teams, and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions that meet project specifications
- Implement and optimize RESTful API integrations and microservices, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality
- Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code, adhering to coding standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote engineering excellence across the team
- Support the automation of build, testing, and deployment processes within CI/CD pipelines to enhance development efficiency
- Engage actively within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver incremental value consistently and effectively
- Mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical growth
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that enhance project outcomes
