About The Role

We are excited to partner with a pioneering global technology firm establishing a state-of-the-art engineering hub in Belfast. This strategic expansion aims to develop innovative software solutions utilized worldwide, impacting diverse industries and markets. As part of this growth, the company is seeking experienced Senior React Engineers to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing next-generation web applications that support critical business operations. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in frontend development, particularly with React and Typescript. A strong understanding of modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles is essential. Candidates should have experience working within Agile teams and collaborative environments, demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is advantageous but not mandatory. While experience in financial services is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement. Candidates should possess a passion for innovation and continuous learning to thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain high-quality, scalable frontend applications using React, Typescript, and modern web technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences.
  • Participate in architectural discussions, contribute to technical decision-making, and help shape the overall frontend strategy.
  • Contribute to the continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software releases.
  • Mentor junior developers, conduct thorough code reviews, and promote best practices in frontend engineering to foster a culture of excellence.
  • Experiment with new frameworks, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve development workflows, product quality, and team efficiency.
