About The Role

The position of React Native Developer is a key role within a pioneering trading brokerage expanding into the UK market. You will be part of a small, agile technology team responsible for designing and developing greenfield trading systems from the ground up. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a start-up environment backed by a larger organization, providing the chance to take ownership of projects and see immediate impact through the development of high-quality, scalable, and secure trading applications. Your primary focus will be on front-end mobile application development, including data visualization and charting features, utilizing React Native, TypeScript, React.js, Redux, and Expo. The role is based in the City of London, where you will collaborate closely with finance entrepreneurs and technologists in a professional yet innovative setting.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in mobile application development using React Native.
  • Strong proficiency with React.js, Redux, and TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with data visualization, charting, or related front-end technologies is desirable.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and build systems from scratch.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the finance or trading sector is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to development.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile trading applications using React Native.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Implement data visualization features, including charts and dashboards, to enhance user experience.
  • Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of trading systems across mobile platforms.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to uphold high standards of code quality.
  • Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from initial concept through deployment and maintenance.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, including AI integrations.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and best practices.
