Technically Experienced Project Manager (Pathology & Surveying) – London - Corsica Street

Role Overview

Location: London (Corsica Street), other locations considered Salary: £50,347.00 – £60,589.00 (London) / £46,449.00 – £57,284.00 (National)

Hours: 36 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent Closing Date: 15th July 2026 at midnight

We are seeking a technically experienced Project Manager with expertise in pathology and surveying. You will manage complex, high-risk projects—ensuring robust decision-making while keeping resident engagement at the heart of delivery. A commercial mindset is essential to balance costs, quality, and outcomes, driving value for money across all projects.


Key Responsibilities

As part of the Reactive Major Works team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading projects from scoping to completion, managing a wide portfolio of priorities while maintaining alignment with strategic goals.
  • Coordinating delivery partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Using commercial acumen to identify cost-saving opportunities while upholding quality standards.
  • Stakeholder engagement—maintaining transparent communication with internal teams, contractors, and residents.
  • Recording risks, decisions, and deliverables in clear and measurable ways keep projects on track.
  • Applying legislative and industry standards to project delivery frameworks.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant building, health and safety regulations.

Essential Requirements

  • A relevant property-related qualification (e.g. degree or professional diploma) or substantial experience in major works, pathology, and surveying.
  • Extensive experience in project and contract management, particularly within high-value contracts.
  • Demonstrable success in managing complex projects—including defect identification, scoping, and defining project specifications.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (advanced reporting and analysis skills).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, balancing creativity with a commercially driven approach.
  • Experience using project management methodologies to deliver outcomes efficiently.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK, residing in England or Wales.
  • Availability for travel across a national remit as required.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience using project management software (e.g. MS Project, Jira).
  • Familiarity with defect analysis techniques and summary reports.
  • Knowledge of Client/S challanges and framework delivery, Ninox and Novo/ PHD before most desirable.
