Our Vacancy
As a Plumber, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality reactive maintenance and associated plumbing works for our residents. You’ll take pride in completing jobs to a high standard, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and in line with agreed specifications. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you’ll help us provide an excellent customer experience while managing a varied workload and maintaining our commitment to a ‘Right First Time’ service.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll carry out a wide range of plumbing tasks alongside other related maintenance activities as required. Your focus will be on delivering repairs and installations on a first-time fix basis, ensuring all work meets our safety standards, service levels and organisational values. You’ll keep your work schedule up to date using a handheld PDA device, communicate effectively with residents and colleagues, and ensure all job variations or issues are promptly reported. You’ll also help maintain appropriate van stock, work towards agreed KPIs and performance targets, and always uphold a professional approach, from maintaining a tidy workspace to providing excellent customer service.

What You’ll Need
- A recognised plumbing qualification (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, or completed apprenticeship)
- Proven experience as a Plumber, ideally within a social housing maintenance environment
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements relevant to the role
- Good communication and time-management skills
- A full UK manual driving licence and own trade-specific hand tools
