Real Estate Analyst

About the Role
The Real Estate Analyst sits in the Analytics team and works closely with Capital Markets, Acquisitions, Finance, and Portfolio Management teams.
You will:
- Own our suite of financial models for acquisitions and portfolio management.
- Maintain the underwriting and performance data underpinning these models.
- Produce ongoing reporting for our clients and leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Modelling
- Build and maintain acquisition and asset management models.
- Develop models to support new investment strategies and fundraising.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of underwriting data, actuals, and financial metrics.
- Improve model accuracy through deeper analysis, faster generation from standard data imports, and sharper assumptions by tracking underwrites against actuals.
Reporting
- Produce client reporting across weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles, synthesising financial and operational metrics into consistent, high-quality materials.
- Generate internal reporting for leadership and operations teams.
- Optimise reporting processes to reduce generation time, increase repeatability, and enhance clarity and readability.

Analysis
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to support investment targeting and portfolio performance assessments.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Essential
- 1–3 years of experience in a modelling or analyst role (or strong graduates with relevant placement experience).
- Advanced Excel proficiency and strong financial modelling skills.
- Relevant experience in real estate finance and/or modelling.
- Ability to structure and solve complex analytical problems.
- Clear communication, strong numeracy, and accurate writing skills.
- Organisational skills to manage competing demands from multiple stakeholders.
- Fluency with AI tools.
Helpful (Not Required)
- Experience with operational real estate investment in the UK, particularly Build to Rent (Multifamily) or Single Family Residential.
