Senior Construction & Real Estate Remediation Lawyer
Our client, a leading real estate developer, is hiring an experienced lawyer to join their specialist remediation team, working on a large-scale regenerative programme with a significant portfolio of live projects.
This is a high-impact role, bridging construction law, disputes, and complex portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
- Play a hands-on leadership role in coordinating remediation across multiple developments
- Liaise with external counsel while developing in-house capabilities
- Provide critical legal guidance on:
- Construction defects and building safety
- Dispute resolution and liability analysis
- Reviewing and interpreting development documentation (module contracts, warranties, consultant appointments)
- Oversee external law firms, ensuring adherence to strategy and deadlines
- Assist in commercial decision-making across the project portfolio

Ideal Candidate Profile
Seek an experienced, pragmatic, and result-driven construction lawyer, comfortable with a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
Required Experience
- 5–10+ years’ qualify (or equivalent)
- Strong background in construction and real estate law (preferably mixed contentious/commercial)
- Experience in well-regarded law firms or in-house roles
- Expertise in construction and property documentation
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent matters/workstreams independently
