The Role

Real Estate Relationship Manager - Boutique West End based Corporate Bank

Martis Search are representing a boutique-based Banking organisation to a hire a permanent Real Estate Relationship Manager - (Investment Boutique-based Bank) within Commercial Real Estate division.

This is an excellent new growth-role opportunity and you will be responsible for all areas: Originating, Structuring and Execution across commercial real estate lending across the UK and International.

The role focuses on originating new business opportunities, building strong networking and relationships with sponsors and intermediaries.

The Relationship Manager acts as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the full lifecycle of the relationship, from origination through to ongoing portfolio management.

You will need to have a proven track record working with Real Estate transactions and a deep understanding of the UK Commercial Real Estate sector.

This role will also involve ad-hoc travel.

Responsibilities

Originate new real estate lending opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with real estate developers, property investors, private equity firms, debt advisers, brokers, and other professional intermediaries. Generate new lending opportunities aligned with the Bank’s strategy. Develop and maintain a strong market profile. Structure lending solutions tailored to client requirements. Prepare credit applications and supporting documentation. Conduct detailed financial analysis and transaction assessments. Present transactions to internal credit committees. Coordinate legal, valuation, and due diligence processes Manage a portfolio of corporate real estate clients. Act as the primary point of contact for clients. Identify opportunities to deepen and expand client relationships. Monitor client performance and covenant compliance. Ensure a consistently high standard of client service. Monitor portfolio performance and credit quality. Identify emerging risks and early warning indicators. Ensure timely completion of annual reviews and facility renewals. Ensure all transactions comply with internal policy and risk appetite. Assess borrower strength, security quality, and repayment capacity. Escalate potential concerns appropriately. Support portfolio stress testing and monitoring exercises. Maintain strong knowledge of UK real estate markets. Identify emerging market trends and opportunities. Contribute to the development of lending products and sector strategy. Enhance the Bank’s profile within the real estate finance market.

Minimum 8 years’ plus experience in Commercial Real Estate Proven experience with originating and executing Real Estate transactions. Strong understanding of UK Commercial Real Estate

Salary

Between £100 k pa - £130 k pa dependent upon experience, plus an annual discretionary bonus, pension, healthcare etc.
