Role Description

The Real Estate Rental Agent role is a full-time, on-site position based in Royal Sutton Coldfield. In this role, the agent will manage rental listings, conduct property viewings, and guide prospective tenants through the application and lease process. The agent will liaise with landlords on property marketing, tenancy agreements, and rental terms, while ensuring that landlord/tenant matters are handled in line with company policies and legal requirements.

The agent will also work closely with colleagues across sales and property management to provide a seamless experience to clients.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of landlord/tenant matters and practical experience within estate agencies or letting environments.
  • Knowledge of property management processes, including tenancy administration, inspections, and coordination of repairs.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships.
  • Good local market awareness and interest in residential real estate, with the ability to advise landlords and tenants on rental options.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple properties, appointments, and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work on-site in Royal Sutton Coldfield, including occasional evenings or weekends as required.
  • Basic IT skills, including use of email, property management software, and office productivity tools.
  • Prior experience in lettings, real estate, or a related customer-facing role is preferred; relevant training or certification in property or real estate is an advantage.
