Real Estate Associate | 1–2 PQE | Top 25 UK Law Firm

Are you a Real Estate Solicitor with 1–2 years' PQE, looking to join a leading international law firm in London where you can work on some of the UK's most significant real estate transactions while developing your expertise across a broad range of commercial property matters?

The team acts for an impressive client base including institutional investors, developers, fund managers, lenders, major corporate occupiers, local authorities, public sector bodies and international businesses. Lawyers advise across a broad range of sectors including offices, logistics, industrial, retail, residential, student accommodation, hotels, healthcare, life sciences, energy and large-scale mixed-use developments.

Working as part of a fully integrated practice, the team regularly collaborates with specialists across Construction, Planning, Tax, Banking and Corporate to deliver strategic, commercially focused advice on major investment, development and regeneration projects.

Known for its technical excellence and commercial approach, the team combines market-leading work with a genuinely supportive culture, providing junior lawyers with excellent mentoring, early responsibility and outstanding opportunities for long-term progression.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Real Estate Solicitor with 1–2 years' PQE to join a growing and strategically important practice advising on a broad range of high-value commercial property matters.

Working alongside leading partners and senior lawyers, you will gain exposure to complex transactions from the outset while taking increasing responsibility for your own matters and developing strong client relationships.

The role offers exposure to a wide variety of work, including:

  • Advising on acquisitions and disposals of commercial real estate across a range of asset classes.
  • Acting on landlord and tenant matters, including negotiating leases, agreements for lease and ancillary occupational documentation.
  • Supporting clients on large-scale development, regeneration and mixed-use projects.
  • Advising institutional investors, developers and corporate occupiers on investment and asset management matters.
  • Assisting on the property aspects of corporate transactions, financing arrangements and portfolio acquisitions.
  • Working closely with colleagues across Planning, Construction, Banking and Tax on complex, multi-disciplinary matters.

You will benefit from significant client exposure from an early stage and be encouraged to take ownership of matters, build lasting client relationships and become actively involved in business development initiatives.

The team also offers opportunities for client secondments, providing valuable commercial insight and further enhancing your technical expertise.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 1–2 years' PQE.
  • Experience advising on a broad range of commercial real estate matters gained within a recognised Real Estate practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant work and general commercial property transactions.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to deliver pragmatic, solutions-focused advice.
  • Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
  • A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for building your practice and contributing to business development.
