Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity within NWSSP’s Supply Chain & Logistics, supporting the Receipt & Distribution (R&D) Stores Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Supply Chain & Receipting & Distribution team, overseeing the influx of goods, stock allocation, and logistics operations.
- Collaborate with management to develop and modernise R&D functions.
- Handle customer service queries, prioritise health & safety, and ensure top-tier operational efficiency.
- Oversee critical processes:
- Receive stock from third parties/regional stores.
- Allocate and distribute stock and non-stock items across the Health Board to wards.
- Schedule distribution, scanning, and stock movement.

Core Duties

Staff Management:
- Allocate workloads and resources to meet deadlines.
- Implement agile staff rotations for efficient operations.
- Monitor and supervise unloading/staging activities.
- Manage staff training/performance via audits and development initiatives.

Process Improvement:
- Assist in modernising workflows under Senior Management guidance.

Security & Compliance:
- Maintain security protocols in the Receipt area.
- Uphold quality standards per set NHS policies.
Note: The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not mandatory.

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Education/Experience:
- Hold an HNC, Diploma, or equivalent store/warehouse experience.
- Knowledge:
- Proven skills in risk assessments and navigating high-pressure environments.
