Job Description Portico is looking for an exceptional Reception Manager to lead our front of house and workplace experience operations for a client based across multiple UK locations in the financial services industry. This is a high visibility, people centric 12 month maternity cover contract, where you will act as a trusted ambassador for both Portico and our Client. You will manage a team of 13 colleagues, including a Reception Supervisor, an AV & Events Lead, and the wider AV team. Working closely with the Facilities team, you will ensure seamless service delivery across London, Leeds, and Edinburgh. Your remit will span guest experience, reservations, events, AV services, and switchboard operations. You will also play a key role in supporting workplace projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 13 front of house and AV professionals Deliver an exceptional guest welcome and premium client hosting experience Oversee central reservations and visitor management processes Manage AV services and coordinate event support across multiple sites Supervise switchboard operations to ensure consistent service excellence Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and internal stakeholders Support workplace projects, service enhancements, and operational initiatives Analyse data, prepare business reports, and track performance metrics Hours: 40 hours per week, shifts between 7am and 6 pm Mon – Fri Salary: £41,380 per annum Qualifications We’re looking for a confident, polished, and proactive leader who thrives in a fast paced corporate environment. You will bring: Clear, confident communication skills across all channels Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust Proven leadership experience, ideally within the corporate sector A consistently customer focused approach and professional demeanour A proactive mindset and the ability to lead change effectively Exceptional attention to detail and ownership of issues through to resolution Experience in visitor management and room reservations operations Ability to analyse data, interpret insights, and present business reports Additional Information What's in it for you?
