Wagtail is a premium rooftop restaurant and bar in the heart of the City of London, offering a refined dining experience, elegant atmosphere, and a strong focus on exceptional service. Set across multiple terraces with striking views of London's skyline, Wagtail delivers modern British cuisine alongside a curated drinks offering, creating a sophisticated and memorable guest experience.

Role Overview

At ETM Group, being a Reception Manager is a key guest-facing leadership role within our premium hospitality environments. You're not just managing bookings - you're shaping the guest journey from the very first interaction, ensuring a seamless, polished, and memorable arrival experience that reflects our EPIC values.

Across our ETM Collection venues - from rooftop restaurants to refined dining spaces - our Reception Managers play a vital role in delivering an exceptional front-of-house experience. You will oversee reservations, manage guest flow, and ensure every interaction is handled with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail.

Working closely with your General Manager and wider management team, you will take ownership of the reception operation, including team leadership, booking management, and guest relations. This is a hands-on role where you will lead from the front, support your team, and ensure the reception area operates with efficiency and precision at all times.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
