A welcoming and supportive primary school in Chatham is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team on a permanent basis from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to providing a nurturing, engaging, and inspiring start to children's education.
The Role:
- Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress effectively
- Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Contributing positively to the wider school community

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within EYFS or Reception is desirable
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for early years education and child development
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
