Role: Reception Teacher

About The Role
An inclusive and welcoming primary school in Lambeth is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The successful teacher will lead a well-resourced Reception class, delivering creative and engaging lessons that support children's early development and foster a love of learning. You'll be supported by an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant and a strong leadership team who prioritise collaboration and staff well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
- Observe, assess, and record pupils' progress effectively.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Promote inclusive learning and celebrate every child's achievements.

Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
- Experience teaching in Early Years, ideally in Reception.
- Strong understanding of EYFS principles and child-led learning.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness).
