Job Description
Portico are delighted to be recruiting for a Reception Team Leader (Client Support Team Leader) to oversee our front-of-house team based at the Birmingham offices of one of the world’s largest and most prestigious law firms.
This is a standout opportunity for an experienced client services professional who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and enjoys leading by example.
As a Client Support Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of the building’s client experience. You will:
- Oversee both ground floor and client floor reception operations
- Ensure the seamless coordination of meetings, events, and room bookings
- Act as the primary point of contact for onsite projects and client initiatives
- Support and guide the reception team to deliver an exceptional, consistent service
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism in a prestigious corporate environment

This role requires a confident leader who can balance operational oversight with hands-on service delivery.
Details
- Hours: 35 hours per week, with varying shifts between 7am–7pm (flexibility for occasional early/late shifts, Mon–Fri).
- Salary: £28,392 per annum.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, warmth, and a genuine passion for people. You will have:
- An outgoing personality and excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong, lasting relationships
- The ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and manage time effectively
- Experience in a client services role (essential)
- Previous management or supervisory experience (advantageous)
- Experience within a professional services environment (advantageous)
