Hotel Receptionist
Location: Welcome Break, Ramada, Oxford, OX33 1LJ
- Immediate start available
- Flexible full-time or part-time hours
- Earn up to £12.85 per hour, plus £1 meals on every shift
We’re looking for someone who enjoys meeting new people every day, staying busy, and ensuring every guest feels genuinely welcome.
As a Hotel Receptionist at our Welcome Break [Days Inn/Ramada] hotel, you’ll be the first friendly face and trusted voice guests encounter during their stay.
You’ll manage check-ins and check-outs, handle guest queries, and ensure the reception area remains organised and welcoming—all while delivering a positive and stress-free experience.
About the Role

- Stay calm, organised, and solution-focused, especially during busy periods
- Take pride in attention to detail—bookings, payments, and follow-up guest requests
- Prefer working in a supportive team environment and are eager to learn new operational systems (full training provided)

Daily Responsibilities

Front Desk Operations:
- Greet guests warmly, facilitate check-ins and check-outs, and resolve queries efficiently
- Manage reservations, payments, and deposits using hotel management systems
- Ensure the reception area is clean, tidy, and guest-friendly

Guest Experience:
- Address guest requests quickly and professionally
- Maintain a positive and helpful tone, even in challenging situations
- Follow health & safety protocols and security procedures

Team Collaboration:
- Contribute to a fast-paced, team-focused environment
- Work closely with kitchen, maintenance, and management teams
- Escalate issues with confidence and professionalism when needed
