Hospital Administrator | Reception Permanent – 37.5 hours per week Shift-based (5 days, 6:30–21:00, 8-hour shifts) Hove

About the Role

The Montefiore Hospital, a premium provider of private healthcare in Hove, East Sussex, is seeking an experienced Administrator to join their reception team on a full-time, permanent basis.

At Montefiore, we offer cutting-edge treatments, including advanced imaging, diagnostic technology, screening, rehabilitation, and specialist surgical procedures—all delivered by our expert and caring clinical teams.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and escorting them to their rooms
  • Admitting patients into the system, ensuring accurate collection of data
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for enquiries
  • Handling various administrative tasks, including updating patient notes
  • Ensuring compliance with forms and hospital processes
  • Discharging patients from the system, verifying all information accuracy
  • Managing the hospital switchboard professionally, responding to calls and enquiries in a timely manner

Who We're Looking For

  • A personable individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong communication abilities across all levels
  • Experience in a customer service environment is desirable
  • Previous administrative experience is essential
  • High level of attention to detail
