Hospital Administrator | Reception Permanent – 37.5 hours per week Shift-based (5 days, 6:30–21:00, 8-hour shifts) Hove
About the Role
The Montefiore Hospital, a premium provider of private healthcare in Hove, East Sussex, is seeking an experienced Administrator to join their reception team on a full-time, permanent basis.
At Montefiore, we offer cutting-edge treatments, including advanced imaging, diagnostic technology, screening, rehabilitation, and specialist surgical procedures—all delivered by our expert and caring clinical teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and escorting them to their rooms
- Admitting patients into the system, ensuring accurate collection of data
- Serving as the primary point of contact for enquiries
- Handling various administrative tasks, including updating patient notes
- Ensuring compliance with forms and hospital processes
- Discharging patients from the system, verifying all information accuracy
- Managing the hospital switchboard professionally, responding to calls and enquiries in a timely manner

Who We're Looking For
- A personable individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong communication abilities across all levels
- Experience in a customer service environment is desirable
- Previous administrative experience is essential
- High level of attention to detail
