Receptionist (12-month fixed term contract)

BAM UK & Ireland's Infrastructure segment are looking to recruit a friendly and polite Receptionist for our Finstown office. You will ensure efficient day to day running of the office along with supporting managers and employees through a variety of tasks ensuring that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Location: Finstown, Orkney, Scotland Contract: 12-month fixed term, 42.5 hours a week or Part Time option also

Making Possible

As a Receptionist, you will initially be responsible for the following:

To be the first point of contact for our project office in Finstown Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries Maintain office security by arranging and allocating access passes to full time staff and monitoring visitors to the office Onboarding for induction through M-Site, managing access and updated records and filing of any paperwork records. Update notice boards, comms screens with relevant information Management of meeting room booking system Ensure meeting rooms are kept tidy and presentable Support project teams and support staff with travel and accommodation bookings Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, minutes Any other administrative duties as required

What do you bring to the role?

General administration experience with good IT skills (proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, Word, Excel) Good communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent organisation with strong attention to detail ensuring records are maintained Ability to prioritise effectively Enthusiastic and out-going personality Good interpersonal skills - must be a team player Able to have a full-time presence in the Peterhead office Previous Front of House and Office administration Experience would be desirable
