Cherrybrook Care Home

Cherrybrook Care Home is a large, purpose designed service in Bradford, providing specialist care across two units for 120 residents with complex mental health needs, dementia and challenging behaviours. The home delivers high quality, clinically led care within a structured and supportive environment, combining specialist nursing expertise with a strong focus on dignity, stability and person centred support.

Receptionist Contract

  • Hourly Rate: £12.71
  • Hours per Week: 16
  • Shift Times: 1pm to 5pm
  • Benefits: Pension, paid DBS, uniform provided
  • Parking: Onsite parking
  • Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact within the home, creating a welcoming and professional environment for residents, families, visitors and external professionals. You will ensure all interactions are handled with warmth, efficiency and discretion.

  • Manage incoming calls, emails and enquiries
  • Support the smooth day to day running of the reception area
  • Handle correspondence, maintain accurate records
  • Support general administrative tasks across the home

Working closely with the management team, you will help ensure the front of house operates in an organised and efficient manner. Your role is key in maintaining a positive first impression and supporting the wider team in delivering a high standard of service.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Confidence using IT systems and databases
  • A friendly, professional and approachable manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
