Receptionist
Receptionist – Part-Time (15 Hours Per Week) – Healthcare Sector
About the Role
We’re recruiting a friendly Receptionist to deliver a first-class reception service in a healthcare setting on a part-time basis, working 15 hours per week.
As part of the Medirest team—Compass Group UK&I’s healthcare specialist division—you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that both staff and visitors are welcomed warmly and supported efficiently across over 130 NHS Trusts and private hospitals.

Shift Patterns
- 5 days per week (rotating over a 7-day cycle).
Your Key Responsibilities
- Creating a welcoming environment – Set a professional yet approachable tone for all staff and visitors.
- Exceptional customer service – Answer incoming calls with politeness and efficiency.
- Adaptive administrative support – Assist across various operational areas as needed.
- Office logistics management – Coordinate the ordering and distribution of essential office supplies.
- Maintaining professional standards – Keep the reception area neat, clean, and tidy at all times.
- Brand representation – Act as a favorable ambassador for Compass Group UK&I, showcasing a positive brand image.

✔ Outstanding communication skills – Both verbal and written, ensuring clarity with staff, patients, and visitors alike.
✔ Superior organisational abilities – The power to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Resilience in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Outlook.
✔ Technical competency – Comfortable using standard office equipment (printers, scanners, etc.).
