Receptionist

Bayards Court, Dartmouth

£14.09 per hour

30 hours per week


The first smile that sets the tone

As Receptionist at Bayards Court, you’ll be the friendly face that makes every visitor feel welcome and every call feel personal. From greeting guests to managing enquiries and supporting the team with day-to-day admin, you’ll keep things running smoothly at the heart of the home.

This role is all about creating a great first impression and being the go-to person for information and support. If you’re organised, approachable and love helping people, you’ll thrive here.


Your role

  • Welcome and assist residents, families and visitors professionally
  • Handle calls, enquiries and correspondence; direct to appropriate colleagues
  • Keep reception area tidy and welcoming
  • Provide admin support, maintain records and assist with scheduling
  • Respond positively to complaints and service issues
  • Support communications, marketing and event coordination
  • Manage visitor access and uphold security protocols
  • Foster a positive environment aligned with Vivant Care values

Your skills

  • Experience in customer service and some administrative work
  • Awareness of the needs of older people
  • Good written and spoken English; strong communication and customer care skills
  • Positive, inclusive approach to clients
  • Ability to keep accurate records and share relevant information clearly
