At Inspired Villages, our Receptionists are the welcoming face of our communities, creating a warm and professional first impression for residents, visitors, and guests. You’ll play a vital role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the village, providing helpful information, outstanding customer service, and a reassuring presence at the heart of village life.

The Role

  • Delivering full reception duties, meeting and greeting residents, visitors, and guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
  • Acting as a central point of information, providing helpful and accurate guidance to residents and visitors
  • Coordinating prompt responses from colleagues and approved contractors through effective communication and follow-up
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and welcoming reception area at all times
  • Ensuring all notices, displays, and information are accurate, up to date, and relevant to the business
  • Answering incoming calls, identifying the nature of enquiries, and directing callers appropriately and professionally
  • Managing room booking systems, ensuring all bookings are accurately recorded and kept up to date
  • Supporting the Office Manager with general administrative duties as required

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer-focused role, ideally within an office or reception environment
  • Confident IT skills, with working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach
