Right now, we are looking for a Receptionist/Administrator to play a pivotal role in our Corporate Services in London.
Sounds great, what will I be doing?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Hestia's Central Services team as a Receptionist based at our modern London Head Office. Working within a small, friendly and supportive team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office while providing a professional and welcoming experience for staff, visitors, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Managing reception
- Coordinating visitors and handling incoming calls and deliveries
- Overseeing office facilities, meeting rooms
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and professional working environment
In addition to reception and facilities management, you will support procurement and administrative processes, including:
- Processing invoices
- Coordinating orders
- Maintaining office resources
- Arranging maintenance works
- Supporting the effective operation of office systems and equipment
You will also act as the lead Fire Marshal for Head Office and help ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
What do I need to bring with me?
We're looking for a professional, organised, and customer-focused individual who can act as the first point of contact for Hestia's Head Office.
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role
- Experience working effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive and approachable manner
- Ability to build professional relationships with colleagues, visitors, and external stakeholders
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety, GDPR, and confidentiality principles
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong numeracy skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and follow established processes and procedures
- Willingness to develop and improve administrative systems where appropriate
- Comfortable learning new software packages quickly
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting a busy office environment
- Ability to undertake light manual handling tasks, including lifting items up to 5kg
- Proactive approach to ensuring the office operates efficiently and maintains high standards at all times
