Salary: SCP 5-8 £25,583.00 - £26,824.00, Actual Salary: £21,906.70 - £22,969.37 + well-being cash plan + pension scheme + additional Lift Schools benefits
Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Contract: Permanent

We are seeking a Receptionist to join Lift Four Dwellings Secondary and play a key role as the first point of contact for students, families, staff and visitors. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly improving school where every student is known, valued and supported to succeed.

Four Dwellings Academy is part of Lift Schools, a national trust of 59 schools across the country, including 10 schools in the Midlands.

Your new role
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for students, families, staff and visitors, providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service for the academy.

Working closely with the School Operations Manager and wider administration team, you will support the smooth day-to-day running of reception and wider school operations.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Managing reception, visitor procedures and telephone enquiries
- Supporting attendance administration and student welfare
- Coordinating appointments, deliveries and meeting room bookings
- Supporting first aid provision and safeguarding procedures
- Assisting with school events and wider operational activities
- Providing clerking and administrative support to the Academy Council, including minute-taking and maintaining governance records
What You’ll Need To Succeed
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in an administrative or customer-facing role
- Has strong communication, organisational and IT skills
- Can remain calm and professional in a busy environment
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Has a passion for supporting young people
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality
Experience working within a school environment or supporting meetings/governance processes would be advantageous.
