As a Front of House Receptionist, you’ll play a pivotal role in the day to day running of reception, delivering outstanding service to every guest. You’ll ensure check ins and check outs run smoothly, enquiries are handled professionally, and guest satisfaction remains at the heart of everything you do.

You’ll be a knowledgeable ambassador for the resort, confident in answering questions about the property, facilities and local area, and proactive in resolving issues to ensure every stay is memorable.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering a warm, professional welcome and efficient check in experience
  • Managing guest check outs, payments, accounts and robe controls
  • Handling guest enquiries, resolving concerns and escalating where appropriate
  • Administering payments and end of day procedures in line with company guidelines
  • Preparing arrivals for future dates to ensure a seamless guest journey
  • Operating the switchboard and transferring calls professionally
  • Liaising closely with Housekeeping and other departments to support guest satisfaction
  • Supporting continuous improvement of reception performance and profitability
  • Completing administrative duties and attending training as required
  • Always working in line with Champneys’ policies, procedures and health & safety standards

What We’re Looking For

  • A natural people person with a warm, confident and professional approach
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage payments accurately
  • Calm and solutions focused when handling guest feedback or challenges
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, guest focused environment
  • Previous reception or hospitality experience is desirable, but not essential – full training will be provided
