Job Description
We are seeking a warm, professional, and enthusiastic Receptionist (Guest Services Host) to join our team based with a wealth management company in Guildford.
Acting as the face of the business, you will play a vital role in creating outstanding first impressions for all visitors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
This is a varied and rewarding position that combines Reception, Facilities, Post Room, Hospitality, and Events responsibilities. As a key "go-to" person within the building, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of front-of-house services while consistently delivering a first-class client experience.
The successful candidate will be passionate about service excellence, highly organised, and proactive in their approach. You will take pride in going above and beyond to create memorable experiences and ensure every interaction reflects the highest standards of professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a warm, professional, and engaging welcome to all visitors and clients.
- Manage reception and front-of-house operations efficiently and professionally.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared to a high standard.
- Support hospitality services, including refreshments and client catering requirements.
- Assist with the organisation and delivery of onsite meetings and events.
- Process incoming and outgoing post, courier deliveries, and related administration.
- Support facilities-related requests and liaise with service providers where required.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception and client areas.
- Build positive relationships with clients and colleagues across the business.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the client and visitor experience.

Hours
- 40 Hours per week, shifts from 8:30am-5:30pm, from Monday – Friday
Salary
- £27,976 per annum
Qualifications
- To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have previous experience in a Guest Services, Reception, Front of House, Hospitality, Workplace Experience, or similar customer-facing role.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Have the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Be proactive, solutions-focused, and able to use your initiative.
- Present yourself professionally and confidently at all times.
- Enjoy working as part of a team while also being capable of working independently.
- Be passionate about creating exceptional experiences for clients and visitors.
- Have a genuine passion for customer service and hospitality.
- Have strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Have a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to support across a variety of tasks.
- Be able to remain calm, professional, and welcoming in a busy environment.
- Be committed to delivering service excellence and exceeding expectations.
