Receptionist
Receptionist – Hilton Garden Inn Glasgow
Salary: £26,436.80 per annum / £12.71 per hour (40 hours per week, across 5 days)
We are looking for a friendly, passionate, and energetic Receptionist to join our hospitality team at Hilton Garden Inn Glasgow.
About the Role
Your charm and dedication will set the tone for every guest’s stay. As the face of the hotel, you’ll:
- Welcome guests staying on property and visitors to our restaurants, bars, and meeting rooms with warmth and excellent service.
- Provide answers to inquiries, share information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Ensure every guest leaves with a memorable, positive experience.
You’ll need a natural flair for hospitality and a genuine passion for service.
Ideally, experience in a branded hotel environment is helpful, but we offer full training for new team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable stay.
- Promote and manage our hotel’s services, events, and dining options.
- Operate front-desk and reservation systems effectively.
- Work across a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays—great flexibility required.
- Embrace apprenticeships and professional development opportunities for long-term hospitality career growth.

Requirements
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality.
- Basic familiarity with hotel five-star standard service (experience not mandatory).
- Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on training as needed.
