Receptionist – Bupa Dental Care Sevenoaks
Location: Bupa Dental Care Sevenoaks 138 London Road, Sevenoaks, TN13 1DJ
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:15am – 5:45pm
- Friday: 8:15am – 4:45pm

Bupa Dental Care Sevenoaks is a modern, well-established 8-surgery practice offering a wide range of specialist and general dental services. Our experienced clinical team includes specialists in:
- Orthodontics
- Implantology
- Periodontics
- Oral Surgery
- Endodontics
We provide exceptional care to our patients in a professional and welcoming environment.
As the first point of contact for patients, our Receptionists play a vital role in delivering an outstanding patient experience. We’re seeking a friendly, organised, and customer-focused individual to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Receptionist, you’ll bring warmth and efficiency to every patient interaction:
- Customer care at the heart – Warmly greet patients in person and over the phone, answer queries, and create a relaxed, welcoming environment.
- Appointment management – Handle bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling efficiently.
- Patient support – Explain processes and treatment options, assist with payments, and guide patients on private vs. NHS services.
- Administrative reliability – Maintain accurate patient records, manage confidential information, and keep the reception area professional.
- Problem-solving with empathy – Address concerns and complaints professionally while aiming for positive resolution.
- Team collaboration – Support clinicians with handovers and ensure smooth patient journeys from reception to treatment.

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

- Have previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- Possess strong communication skills (both face-to-face and over the phone).
- Confident using IT systems for bookings and record-keeping.
- Proactive, flexible and ready to assist the team where needed.

Additionally, you should be comfortable in:
- Promoting and upselling Bupa Dental Care products and services (plans, finance, insurance).
- Handling NHS and private service inquiries with clarity.
