Receptionist/Administrator
Location: Chester
Hours: Part-time, Monday to Friday 08:30 - 13:00
Contract: Temp (1-2 months initially)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities management provider for two part-time Receptionist / Administrator positions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional, organised and customer-focused individual to join a busy front-of-house team, providing a welcoming and efficient service to visitors, tenants, customers and partners.
The Role
As Receptionist/Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the workplace.
You will provide a professional reception service, deal with queries, support general administration and help maintain a safe, secure and well-organised working environment.

- Delivering a professional front-of-house reception service
- Greeting and welcoming visitors to the office
- Providing advice, guidance and support to customers, tenants and partners
- Handling general queries, complaints and difficult conversations in a calm and professional manner
- Supporting general administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records
- Managing post, parcels and confidential or sensitive information securely
- Monitoring and maintaining administrative systems
- Building strong working relationships with staff, tenants and partners
- Ensuring the reception and wider working environment remains safe, secure and well presented
- Providing cover at other reception locations when required
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident, approachable and highly organised. You will enjoy working with people, be able to adapt to a busy front-of-house environment and take pride in delivering excellent customer service.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous customer service experience
- Reception or front-of-house experience
- Good administrative skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Excel and Word
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
- A polite, professional and courteous manner
