Corporate Receptionist – Global Law Firm (London)

About the Role

Location: London Salary: £35k–£43k (dependent on experience) Employer: A London-based global law firm

We are seeking an outstanding Corporate Receptionist to join our fast-paced, VIP-focused law firm. Acting as the first point of contact for clients, staff, and high-net-worth individuals, you will provide exceptional 5-star customer service, manage reservations, and administer executive events while supporting the team with smooth daily operations.

This pivotal role requires exceptional communication, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to create outstanding impressions in a professional and high-profile environment.


Key Responsibilities

Frontline Services

  • Warmly meet and greet clients, visitors, and staff in a charming, professional manner
  • Manage meeting room bookings using calendar/software systems
  • Coordinate and facilitate conference calls to ensure smooth transmission

Administration & logistics

  • Oversee catering teams (lunches, drinks, room setups) and ensure meeting spaces remain pristine for cleaning teams
  • Book lunches and events, liaising with external hospitality partners
  • Maintain screenings of office supplies (stock checks, ordering, filing)
  • Handle general administration (copying, faxing, scanning)

Guest Support

  • Arrange travel and accommodation for visitors
  • Work closely with the team to enhance office efficiency and ambassadorship

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in front-of-house reception from either:
    • A befriended brand (hotel, corporate setting), or
    • A 4–5-star hotel, or
    • Former cabin crew with administrative expertise
  • Exceptional communication skills,gif specuary when liaising with VIPs and UHNW individuals
  • Confident of word processing and spreadsheet tasks
  • A keen attention to detail combined with prioritisation skills
  • Ability to operate under pressure in a high-performing environment
  • Friendly telephone etiquette, coÀ¤ative and polished presentation
  • Self-motivated with team player mindset

Technical Requirements

  • Expertise using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Familiarity with appointment scheduling software
