About the Client
An established mid-sized Financial Services firm with a global presence and a base in the City of London, is seeking a dedicated and hard-working Receptionist to join their team. They offer a collaborative and supportive working environment, with a focus on long-term career progression.
About the Role
This is a varied and busy permanent Reception and Office Administration position, involving (but not limited to):
Front of House Management
- Meeting and greeting all guests
- Directing incoming calls
- Managing company meetings, including schedules and ensuring guidelines are followed
- Supporting the Office Manager with ad-hoc Facilities Management duties

Office Administration & Support
- Keeping the office kitchen stocked and ordering necessary supplies
- Distributing incoming mail and liaising with couriers
- Processing invoices and collaborating with the finance team
- Handling ad-hoc overflow duties from the Executive Assistant team, including arranging travel and booking restaurants
- Potential opportunities to take on additional Team Assistant responsibilities within the wider team over time
- Engagement with the social committee
- Supporting ad-hoc projects and administration
Candidate Specification
- Prior experience in a client-facing Receptionist role
- Experience in office administration and business support
- Well-presented and highly professional appearance and demeanour
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- "Muck-in" mentality—no job too big or small
- Strong organisation and time management skills

Additional Information
- Salary range: Up to £45K (subject to experience)
- Permanent position with start date to be confirmed
- Fully office-based, non-negotiable (must be available for a 5-day workweek in the office)
- Location: Central City of London
- Working hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm
