Receptionist

Maternity Cover Receptionist – 9 Months to 1 Year

Location: Eastgate Dental, 46 Wedgewood Street, Aylesbury, HP19 9HL Hours: 40 hours per week

About the Role

At Rodericks Dental Partners, every patient experience begins with you. As a Maternity Cover Receptionist, you’ll be more than just a front desk professional—you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, setting the tone for care and comfort while supporting the smooth running of a 16-surgery dental practice.

About Eastgate Dental

A clinically led dental practice specialising in:

  • Endodontics
  • Orthodontics
  • Minor oral surgery & frenectomy
  • Implants
  • Periodontics
  • Prosthodontics

Strengths & Support:

  • Qualified nurse with 21 years’ experience (including head nurse duties)
  • Hygienist with 17 years’ experience
  • Dentists with extensive expertise (11 years’ experience, including implants and support for Denplan)
  • Computerised practice running on Dentally software
  • Proximity to transport (bus stop out front, 1.7 miles from Aylesbury train station)
  • Free large public car park available right outside

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide friendly, professional, and reassuring welcomes to all patients
  • Manage appointment bookings with precision and maintain accurate records
  • Process payments and administrative tasks confidently
  • Support dentists, nurses, and practice managers to ensure smooth operations
  • Promote and upsell dental services to benefit patient care
  • Create and maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere in the practice

What You’ll Bring With You

We’re looking for a proactive, caring, and attentive team player with:

✅ Previous reception/customer service experience (desirable, but not essential) ✅ Strong communication skills – poised, professional, and approachable ✅ Ability to multitask calmly in a fast-paced environment ✅ Attention to detail for managing bookings, finances, and records ✅ Good IT skills (comfortable with software such as Dentally) ✅ Team spirit and a genuine passion for supporting patients
