We are currently recruiting for a professional and customer-focused Front of House & Reception Administrator to join a well-established professional services organisation based in central Edinburgh on a temporary basis for 2.5 months. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a client-facing environment and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of reception while providing valuable administrative support to the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and visitors, creating a professional and friendly first impression.
- Manage the reception area, meeting rooms and switchboard.
- Prepare meeting rooms and assist with client hospitality.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, post and courier deliveries.
- Print, scan, copy and prepare documentation and meeting packs.
- Support data entry, record management and general administrative tasks.
- Assist with facilities coordination, including stationery and office supplies.
- Maintain visitor sign-in procedures and support health and safety processes.
- Liaise with contractors and support the upkeep of the office environment.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a reception, front of house or customer-facing administrative role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Teams and Excel.
- A proactive and professional approach with the ability to multitask.
- Experience within a professional services environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

Location - Edinburgh Centre
Pay: £12.71-£13.45 per hour
