The Role
To maintain the highest standards in the day-to-day operation of the Front of House department, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality guest services, excellent guest relations, and professional contact with all visitors to Eden Hall Day Spa.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing a warm, professional, and confidential guest experience at all times
- Managing guest and member check-ins and check-outs efficiently, following standard procedures
- Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries, in person, by phone, and email
- Confidently using the booking system to manage reservations and daily administration
- Sharing expert knowledge of spa facilities, treatments, and packages to enhance each visit
- Promoting and upselling spa services in a natural, guest-focused way
- Handling guest feedback and complaints calmly and professionally, escalating when required
- Ensuring Front of House areas are fully staffed, organised, and ready for arrivals and departures
- Supporting smooth daily operations, including end-of-day reporting, stock tasks, and logging requests
- Working collaboratively across departments, providing cover and support when needed
- Contributing ideas to continuously improve service standards and guest experience
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation
- Following all Health & Safety, Fire, First Aid, and COSHH procedures
- Ensuring Front of House operations meet company and legal requirements

Personal Specification
Required:
- Previous guest-facing experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain professional, friendly, and approachable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to follow procedures and maintain confidentiality
- Sales-focused approach with confidence in promoting services and products

Desirable (not essential):
- Previous experience in reception, hospitality, or customer service
Additional Information
- 1x Full-Time position available – 37.5 hours per week
- Working 5 out of 7 days per week
- Shift patterns:
- 0630–1430 hrs
- 0700–1500 hrs
- 1115–1915 hrs
- 1430–2230 hrs (Shifts are scheduled across the week, including weekends, and operate on a rolling rota basis.)
