Receptionist
Location: London
Contract: 12 month FTC
Salary: £29k
Service & Guest Experience
- Welcome and assist Members and guests on arrival, ensuring exceptional service at all times.
- Escort overnight guests to their rooms and introduce key room features.
- Host restaurant and lounge areas and assist with drinks service when required.
- Provide concierge services and respond to guest requests, enquiries, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Reservations & Communication
- Promote club facilities, private areas, events, and dining options to Members and guests.
- Upsell bedrooms and assist with restaurant, private dining, and screening room enquiries.
- Answer and direct incoming calls professionally.
- Communicate guest requirements and operational issues with housekeeping, maintenance, and relevant departments.

Operations & Standards
- Ensure guest accommodation and services meet club standards.
- Handle shoe care, pressing, and dry-cleaning requests efficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding Members and guest information.
- Be proficient with Front of House systems and equipment.
Events & Administration
- Stay informed about club events and facilities to advise Members.
- Support the Reception Manager with bookings and operational tasks.
- Carry out reasonable requests from senior management.

Weekend Duty Management
- Take responsibility for Duty Manager tasks on weekend shifts.
- Manage housekeeping and food & beverage requests during weekend operations.
- Ensure Member care while maintaining awareness of health and safety risks.
Requirements:
- Experience in a receptionist role
- Experience of working in a similar luxury environment
- Experience of dealing with high profile guests
- Experience of setting and maintaining exceptional customer service
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication
- Ability to deal with people from different cultures and backgrounds
- Ability to deal with challenging situations
