Receptionist Job
Location: London - Office based role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Receptionist at our stylish London office in the heart of The City. A rare opportunity has arisen in our London office for a full-time, experienced receptionist to support our client-focused teams. This dual-role position combines front-of-house duties with administrative support across departments.
As the first point of contact, you must demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and a commitment to excellent service. You’ll work closely with another receptionist, adapting to fluctuating workloads—busy one day, quieter the next, with more admin tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage reception tasks, prioritising and delegating as needed for smooth office operations.
- Welcome and direct visitors, booking them via Vicinitee.
- Assist with broadband/network issues, report faults, and follow up on resolutions.
- Maintain the Health & Safety Manual and record actions.
- Oversee meeting rooms: bookings, refreshments, catering, and equipment.
- Submit invoices for catering, milk, and supplies.
- Handle all post and courier deliveries, including scanning.
- Manage stationery stock, monitoring usage and costs.
- Answer calls via Genesys, directing appropriately.
- Support desk bookings and profile creation in Engage.
- Promote and implement safety procedures for all staff and visitors.

- Previous Experience: Must have worked on reception before, handling more than one task at a time.
- Presentation & Organisation: Smart, tidy, and always puts the customer first.
- Communication: Answers questions clearly and politely, even when under pressure.
- Teamwork & Initiative: Works well with others and can think for yourself when needed.
- Telephone & Switchboard: Speaks well on the phone; switchboard use is a plus (training available).
