We are seeking a professional, organised and friendly Receptionist to join our busy Chelmsford office. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a positive and professional impression of the firm while supporting the day-to-day running of the office.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls.
- Managing meeting room bookings and preparing rooms for client meetings.
- Handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
- Assisting with the onboarding of new clients, including ID documentation and initial enquiries.
- Supporting fee earners and administrative teams with general office tasks.
- Maintaining reception and client areas to a high standard.
- Processing incoming emails and enquiries and ensuring they are directed to the appropriate team.
- Assisting with general administrative duties as required.

About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Present a professional and confident manner, both in person and over the telephone.
- Be highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Be comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Possess good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Have previous reception, customer service or administrative experience (preferred but not essential).
- Demonstrate a positive, proactive and team-oriented approach.
