We’re now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Receptionist at Miramar Care Home in Herne Bay. If this sounds like the place for you, we’d love to hear from you!


About The Role

Your focus as a Receptionist will be to offer professional, high-quality customer service as the first point of contact within the home, as well as providing a range of administrative services.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Answering the telephone, responding to enquiries, redirecting calls to relevant staff, and recording messages as required.
  • Completing reception-related administration, maintaining databases, and providing administrative assistance to the General Manager on demand.
  • Maintaining the tidiness of the reception area and liaising with Housekeeping to ensure standards are upheld.

About You

We’re looking for a candidate who:

  • Has excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Is confident at using computers and database systems.
  • Exudes a positive, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
  • Has previous experience in problem-solving and managing client complaints.
